Like a fictional detective, fueled by curiosity, empathy and a good sense of humor, we use creativity to explore our common humanity while celebrating the beautiful differences between all things and the interdependencies that ultimately sustain us.
Creativity can highlight areas of commonality, uncover and grow identities and communities, and expose injustices.
Creativity can be fun, silly, even stupid. We can laugh, cry and take action as we experience creative works. To express our creativity is one of many ways to express our humanity and celebrate that we are alive, drawing on what are often the best parts of our selves.
